As part of our Wellness at Work scheme at Blythe Valley Park, we are hosting some more Wellness workshops week commencing 25th March and the following week commencing 1st April. We are hoping these workshops will help you ‘de-stress’ during your working day… Click read more to find out how to sign up – but be quick! Spaces are limited…

Yoga Classes – “Studies have found that regular yoga practice improves coordination, reaction time, memory, and even IQ scores”. Virgin Active will be running 2 free yoga sessions on Monday 25th March from 12.45pm – 1.30pm and Monday 1st April from 12.45pm – 1.30pm. There are 20 places available for each session – sign up now!

Meditation Class – Studies have shown that meditation can reduce stress and symptoms of anxiety, as well as potentially lengthening your attention span! One of Virgin Active’s experienced instructors, Dr Wasay Faladi, will be running a 30 minute meditation class on Wednesday 3rd April from 12.45pm – 1.15pm. There are 25 places available, so sign up while there’s still availability! Those who took part in our mindfulness sessions will love this workshop.

High Intensity Exercise Class – Evidence shows that there is a link between being physically active and good mental wellbeing (NHS, 2016). Virgin Active at BVP are running a free exercise class on Wednesday 27th March at 12.45pm – 1.30pm. There are only 20 places so be quick to sign up!

Virgin’s Lounge Cafe will also offer a complimentary tea or coffee with every sandwich/salad/panini that is purchased by anyone who attended the Wellness Workshops – just quote your name at the till.
