We were overwhelmed with the response from our business community to help Plant For Our Future, and plant 3000 trees on Blythe Valley Park in 2023 in collaboration with SolihullCouncil.

Thank you ZF Group, Fieldfisher, Oracle, Infor, Abbot & GKN Aerospace for all turning out on what was a beautiful sunny day on Blythe to assist the team. We planted 2500 trees across the two days, with the rest planted by a local scout group.

It’s good to know that working towards a greener future and sustainability are as important to our occupiers as it is to us and often, alongside our focus on Wellbeing, that’s why Blythe is selected for their offices.

Andrew Joseph, ZF’s Head of Finance & Operations said “ZF’s strategy places a high priority on sustainability, aiming for carbon neutrality across the board by 2040.  However, smaller actions can make a big impact when addressing global warming – everyone can contribute.

“We are lucky to be surrounded by the nature reserve, and we are making every effort to minimise our impact on the local ecosystem. It’s good to know that our neighbours share this sentiment, and we are excited to work with the business park management, occupiers and council members to support the preservation and potential growth of the park’s biodiversity. We will all benefit from it”.

Trees provide us with lots of benefits including capturing and storing carbon as they grow and also enhancing #biodiversity, which we’re always encouraging through our rich range of habitats across the business park and the surrounding 122 acres of parkland.

We’re looking forward to watching the trees flourish and grow over the years for future generations on the business park to enjoy.
