It’s National Great Outdoors Month in June, aimed at encouraging people to get out into beautiful spaces and enjoy the world around them.
This could simply be exercising outside with a walk or run or taking part in local events.
How lucky are you? If you work Blythe Valley Park you are surrounded by 122 acres of country park and a network of cycle paths and walks to enjoy across the business park. And one of the perks of the park is that you can hire a Ryde bike for free! Just log onto our park app Pip and follow the instructions and you could be exploring in no time.
Alternatively, there are a whole host of local events which will give you opportunity to get out, get active and find some new beautiful spaces to enjoy.
1. Solihull Music Festival (June 20-23): This free family event features a wide range of musical performances across various venues in Solihull town centre, with the main stage in Mell Square. Enjoy genres from pop to rock, with highlights including children’s discos, 80s parties, and live bands throughout the weekend.
2. Solihull 5k Race for Life (June 16): Participate in this charity run to raise funds for Cancer Research UK. It’s a great way to get active outdoors while supporting a worthy cause.
