We’ve set up a brand new coffee recycling service at Blythe Valley Park in conjunction with waste management company, First Mile.

The UK consumes up to 95 million cups of coffee a day, which produces around 500,000 tonnes of used coffee grounds, most of which end up in landfill. First Mile work with bio-bean who recycle coffee grounds and convert them into carbon neutral biofuels, such as ‘Coffee Logs’ which can be used to power wood burners and stoves. Our landscapers at Blythe Valley Park will also be using some of the coffee waste to redistribute around our 122 acres of country park.

Four of our occupiers have already signed up to the service! If you’d like to join Java Lounge, Gymshark, Prologis and Jerroms in recycling your coffee waste at Blythe Valley Park, please contact emily.coombs@improperties.co.uk
